Hi Fly supported the 6th edition of the international conference DISPAX World 2026 – Unruly Airline Passenger Management & Restraint, which took place at Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon, Portugal.
For the first time in Portugal, Hi Fly played a key role in bringing DISPAX World to the country, actively contributing to the organisation and sponsoring the conference, highlighting its strategic engagement in international aviation security forums.
The conference focused on addressing disruptive passenger behaviour in aviation, providing a platform for experts, airline professionals, regulators, and security authorities to share experiences and discuss best practices. It also examined the legal and operational challenges associated with unruly passenger incidents. By fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange, the event helped strengthen safety standards and operational preparedness across the aviation industry.
Susana Jardim, Head of Security & Regulatory Affairs at Hi Fly, responsible for all aspects of the airline’s security operations both on the ground and in flight, participated as a moderator on both Day 1 and Day 2 of the programme, opening discussions at the start of key sessions.
The event featured participation from major aviation authorities and industry leaders, including representatives from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), national civil aviation authorities, airlines, and international industry associations, underlining its global significance and its role in shaping best practices for managing unruly passengers.
