Hi Fly A380 arrived at Reunion Island, flying from Paris. Hi Fly proudly operated the first commercial service of an Airbus A380 to this beautiful region of France, in the Indian Ocean.
The “Save the Coral Reefs” themed aircraft attracted lots of visitors and enthusiasts to the Roland Garros Airport.
The Mirpuri Foundation campaign is now raising awareness on Coral Reefs at this French region, aiming to preserve this underwater tropical paradise, with a rich biodiversity, fauna and flora in its 9 km of reef environment.
If no action is taken, these beautiful ecosystems will disappear by 2050. With 50% of the world’s corals already gone, action needs to be taken immediately and awareness is the first step.
Hi Fly supported Mirpuri Foundation’s idea to carry the message across the five continents. The chosen aircraft was an Airbus A380-800, which is now painted on both sides, one representing a pristine ocean with colourful and healthy marine life and the other displaying destroyed corals. The Airbus A380 exhibits a strong statement that clearly illustrates the importance of the cause and the urgency to act and inspire the change of collective behaviours.
