With prior coordination with ATC, Commander Mirpuri made a low altitude fly-by along the axis of runway 19R in Beja. He then made a right pulling turn and sharply and precisely reversed course for a full stop landing on runway 01L. On the right seat he was assisted by Captain Artur Cabral. Both our Vice-President and Captain Cabral have known each other for 35 years; they flew Twin Otters and King Airs together in the mid 80’s, and since then many other ventures in the Airbuses.
