On April 3rd, the A380-841 (9H-GLOBL) owned by Global Airlines and operated by Hi Fly took to the skies for a local test flight in Beja, following the completion of its cabin refit.
The flight, which lasted approximately two hours, was crucial for testing several software upgrades and functionalities that weren’t available during the initial flight from Dresden to Beja on January 17th.
Commander Carlos Mirpuri shared: “This successful shake-up flight is a testament to the ‘can-do’ attitude of our team here in Beja. It also highlights the exceptional capabilities of MESA, our EASA 145 MRO. The aircraft is an absolute dream to fly, and it’s now nearly ready for commercial operations.”
